GOOD NEWS: THE WORK TO WIDEN THE ROAD HAS BEEN COMPLETED

As the road going from Fornovolasco to the Grotta del Vento has always been so narrow, motorists had to reverse when they met heavy vehicles coming in the opposite direction. This was more problematic for drivers of camper vans and buses.

With a timely and conspicuous intervention, the administration of the council of Fabbriche di Vergemoli has eliminated this problem by widening the road where necessary. The work was completed last Tuesday 26th July with the asphalting of the widened parts.

The work has been done on the last two kilometres of the road, in the part between the turning for San Pellegrinetto and the Grotta del Vento.
