To visit the Grotta del Vento it is highly advisable, especially in periods of great affluence, such as the whole month of August as well as Sundays and holidays in May, June, July and September. The reason is simple: to allow visitors to fully enjoy the beauties offered by the cave and to listen to the explanations given by the guides, the number of people that each group can accommodate is limited. It is true that there are timetables, but without a reservation, even if you arrive before the established time, you run the risk of not being able to enter because the group is already fully booked for that time. And it is not always possible to find a place in the following groups, especially since, for example, the “third itinerary” (complete visit) is only carried out twice a day (at 10 and 14).
🌐 Reservations can be made in two ways: by telephone, on 0583 722024, or online, via the website www.grottadelvento.com. About the two options, the second is clearly preferable because at any time of the day or night it allows you to check which the itineraries and times available at that precise moment, and to reserve the preferred ones in real time, before others can do it.
⚠️ Telephone reservations can only be made between 10 and 19, but the internal lines are often clogged and before being communicated, others could occupy the last available seats. It is therefore advisable to use the telephone only to request information.
🚫 Reservations made by email cannot be accepted. For organized groups made up of at least twenty people (agencies, schools, military departments, company clubs, parishes, etc.) reservations must instead be made only by telephone and confirmed by e-mail.
